Free personalised laser engraving
Most of our olive wood pieces can be personalised with laser engraving, free of charge. You can add a name, a date or a short message of up to 35 characters, or upload your own logo or a photo. The engraving is done by laser in Switzerland and adds 1 to 2 working days before your order ships.
How to order an engraved piece
- Open the product you want. Engravable products show a Text to engrave field and a logo/photo upload button, just below the Add to cart button. Fill it in before adding the piece to your cart.
- Type your text (up to 35 characters) or upload your logo or photo.
- Add to cart and check out as usual. The engraving is free: nothing is added to the price.
What can be engraved
Engraving works best on flat, generous surfaces: cutting and serving boards, cheese boards, trays, coasters and the handles of spoons, spatulas and raclette spatulas. The full selection is in our engraving collection. If a product page has no engraving field, that piece is not suitable for engraving.
Ideas for the text
- Housewarming: the family name and the year, for example Famille Rochat · 2026.
- Wedding: both first names and the date, for example Anna & Luca · 12.06.2026.
- Birthday or thank-you: a first name, initials or a short phrase such as For the best cook.
- Companies and associations: your logo, uploaded as an image. For larger quantities, write to us first at contact@nawaracraft.com.
Why an engraved olive wood piece makes a good gift
- Every piece is carved by hand from a single block of olive wood, so its grain is unique. Add a name and it becomes one of a kind twice over.
- Laser engraving is burnt into the surface of the wood. It does not wash off and does not fade with use.
- It is a gift that gets used every day, for years, rather than put away in a cupboard.
- The wood comes from pruned branches and old olive trees at the end of their productive life: no tree is felled to make a board.
Questions about engraving
Is the engraving really free?
Yes. There is no engraving surcharge and no minimum order.
How long does it take?
Engraving adds 1 to 2 working days before dispatch. Delivery within Switzerland then takes 3 to 4 working days, and is free from CHF 25.
Can I engrave several pieces in one order?
Yes. Each product has its own engraving field, so every piece can carry a different text.
Can an engraved piece be returned?
Personalised items are made for you and cannot be returned, unless they arrive damaged or defective. Please check the spelling of your text before ordering.
Can I engrave a gift set?
Yes. Every gift set has its own engraving field, and the engraving is free there too. It goes on the main piece of the set, usually the board.
